Influenza A virus was isolated from an outbreak of respiratory disease in domesticated muscovy ducks. The main sign of the disease was sneezing. Approximately 10% of a group of 10-week-old ducks died. The major gross lesions were catarrhal tracheitis and airsacculitis.
