The nutrient medium composition has been studied for its effect on the enzymic properties of different Bacillus strains isolated from the pathological material. It is stated that complex enzymic preparations with different specific proteolytic activity may be obtained depending on the medium composition. The medium with dry fodder yeast as a main source of nitrogen and carbon is an optimal one for obtaining the preparations. All the tested strains may be divided into two groups: those synthesizing amylase in different quantities depending on the nutrient medium composition and those which are not able to biosynthesis of amylolytic enzymes.
