Serum folate and cyanocobalamin in alcoholics

Serum folacin was estimated with Lactobacillus casei and serum cyanocobalamin with L. leichmanii in 48 alcoholic patients, 369 psychiatric patients and 62 normal control subjects. Values were greater in alcoholics than non-alcoholics.
