The antibody and antigen erythrocyte diagnosticums were used to control human hepatitis B virus antigen and antibodies against it. The study was carried out with the use of immunoelectrophoresis, electrophoresis on polyacrylamide gel and hemagglutination diagnosticums. When compared to other quantitative methods, the reverse passive hemagglutination reaction showed higher analytical sensitivity. The test can be used as a method of the standardization of hepatitis B virus antigen preparations in the diagnosis of the disease.
