The vascular and thrombocytic components of the hemostasis system in acute blood loss and its correction

The function of the vascular-thrombocytic component of hemostasis was shown to be activated during hemorrhage (10 and 40% of the total circulating blood). This activation resulted in the intravascular aggregation of platelets and their release reaction which presents a component of the intravascular blood coagulation mechanism in hemorrhage. Such changes in the vascular-thrombocytic component of hemostasis were prevented by the administration of a complex of drugs including heparin, desaggregants and agents preventing a drop in the antiaggregation activity of the vascular wall.
