Meningitis due to C. albicans in children still causes considerable diagnostic and therapeutic difficulties. An infant with this disease was treated successfully with a combination of oral 5FC and intrathecal Amphoterycine B during 63 days. It is worth stressing that after 2 years of follow up the psychomotor development of the child is completely normal.
