Mitochondrial phospholipids of the myocardium of persons consuming alcohol are characterized by an appreciable increase in the concentration of lysophospholipids (lysophosphatidylserines, lysophosphatidylcholines, lysophosphatidylethanolamines), which occurs in the presence of a reduction in the quantity of phosphatidylcholines and phosphatidylethanolamines.
