Patients (25) suffering from duodenal ulcer (DU) and 16 suffering from gastric ulcer (GU) have been treated with ranitidine (150 mg twice daily for 6 wk). Recovery was obtained in 92% of the DU cases; in 81% of the GU cases. Diagnosis and control were performed by endoscopy.
