The antirespiratory activity of the extract from V. rosea [Cantharanthus roseus] against str. T-5 and T-12 of the fungus isolated from toe and finger nails, respectively, increased with increasing concn. The effects of the metabolic inhibitors sodium iodoacetate, sodium fluoroacetate, sodium malonate, sodium azide and 2-4-dinitrophenol on the QO2 values of the fungal strs. were also determined and the results discussed.
