The 2 Ki for the dibasic acid bithionol sulfoxide were determined by UV spectrophotometry. This product has overlapping acidities and its diacid form is very poorly soluble. The spectrometric data are processed by a rigorous least square adjustment. Results are pKA1 = 3.95 and pKA = 6.73 at 25.degree. C and with an ionic strength = 0.1 mol.l.
