Immunogenetic studies were carried out to investigate the occurrence of erythrocyte antigens belonging to the B.S-U,Z,N' and T' blood group genetic systems in the crossbreds, Tharparkar and Sahiwal breeds. The incidence of the various phenogroups in relation to the genetic structure of these 3 breeds of cattle reflected the existence of interbreed variations. The polymorphic variations of the serum transferrins and the serum amylases were investigated in the crossbred cattle. The extensive variations of blood group alleles and the biochemical polymorphic types provides an effective tool for assessing the dissemination of superior germ plasma for rapid improvement.
