Ethmozin pharmacokinetics after a single intravenous administration

After a single i.v. jet injection, ethmozine has a short period of half-elimination (1.3-2.5 h) and high clearance (0.7-1.5 1/min). In patients with acute myocardial infarction, complicated by cardiac insufficiency, ethmozine clearance is lower than in patients without circulatory insufficiency. Compared to patients without myocardial infarction, the difference is statistically significant. In patients with acute myocardial infarction without clinically manifest circulatory insufficiency, ethmozine clearance is lower than in patients without myocardial infarction, but the difference is not statistically significant.
