Contact and vapor toxicity of bendiocarb and pirimiphos methyl were evaluated against C. quinquefasciatus and A. stephensi. Bendiocarb at a dosage of 1 g/m2 gave a contact residual effect up to 10 wk on a mud surface, whereas pirimiphos methyl under similar conditions gave a residual effect for only 7 wk. Vapor toxicity of bendiocarb was negligible, whereas pirimiphos methyl gave 100% kill up to 3 days.
