Effect of sodium nucleinate on the clinical and immunological indicators in infectious-allergic bronchial asthma

Patients suffering from the infectious-allergic form of bronchial asthma and showing a lowered immunological reactivity were treated with sodium nucleinate. A statistically significant improvement of their general state, an increase of the functional activity and the absolute number of T-lymphocytes, an increase of the absolute number of B-cells and a stimulation of DNA synthesis in lymphocytes were attained. When given in courses the treatment led to an increase of all the lymphocyte populations (the T-, the B- and the zero ones).
