Mosquito fauna in certain places of Dibrugarh district in Assam

A survey of the mosquito fauna of the Dibrugarh District of Assam, India, was conducted during March-April 1978. Larval and adult collections revealed that there was a total of 27 species (in 8 genera) present. The highest number of mosquitoes was found in Dinjan. Culex quinquefasciatus Say (pipiens fatigans Wied.) was the commonest species in larval collections, and C. tritaeniorhynchus Giles in adult collections.
