Methods (4) of estimating human blood glucose are compared under standard conditions as existing in laboratories in India. These methods are Folin Wu, Nelson-Somogyi, O-toluidine and Dextrostix Reflectance. There are significant variations among them in ranges from 70 to 180 mg%. In ranges from 180 to 400 mg% the 4 methods are closely approximate each other. Clinically, these ranges are important.
