Effect of lidocain, quinidine, ethmozine, cordaron and obsidan on the ventricular fibrillation threshold was studied in experiments on cats with an opened thorax under nembutal anesthesia. The experiments were carried out on normal animals and animals with acute myocardial infarction exposed to isadrin. Lidocain exerted the most pronounced antifibrillar action in all 3 series of experiments. Ethmozine was most active in animals exposed to isadrin.
