Susceptibility of A. culicifacies larvae to DDT, BHC, temephos, fenthion, malathion and DDVP and adult mosquitoes to DDT, dieldrin, malathion, fenthion, fenitrothion and propoxur were tested. Larvae of this species were susceptible to all the insecticides tested, whereas adults were resistant to DDT but susceptible to other insecticides. The implication of these findings to control is discussed.
