Forty-five dogs with non-specific enteritis were treated with Amforal, which contains kanamyclin, aminopentamide, pectin, bismuth subcarbonate and activated attapulgite. 32 had acute and 13 chronic enteritis. A 90% cure rate was reported for the acute cases and 60% for the chronic cases.
