A 12-year-old Timorese refugee was seen in Syndey, Australia, with a dry cough and reticulonodular shadowing in the lungs. She had Ascaris lumbricoides eggs in her faeces. Pulmonary and intestinal ascariasis was diagnosed and pyrantel embonate was effective.
