Tonometrically relevant parameters prior to and following suspension surgery, using lyophilised Duraband in combination with anterior colporrhaphy and colpoperineoplasty, are compared for 30 patients. The conclusion is drawn that suspension surgery should always be undertaken in conjunction with colpoperineoplasty, if optimum postsurgical results are to be achieved.
