4-Nitro-4'-isothiocyane diphenylamine (Go9333) was evaluated on 61 patients infected with Necator americanus and 39 with Ancylostoma duodenale. 7 different treatment regimes were assessed on the basis of percentage reduction of eggs in the faeces at 14 days after treatment. The best dosage schedule appeared to be 30 mg/kg body weight in a single dose, which was effective against both species (100% reduction in egg counts in all of 20 patients).
