Their prevalences were Uncinaria stenocephala 92.0%; Capillaria plica 45.3%, Toxocara canis 10.7%, Toxascaris leonina 8.0%, Trichuris vulpis 1.3%, Filaroides osleri 1.3%, Dipylidium caninum 34.7%, Taenia hydatigena 16.0%, Echinococcus granulosus 2.7%, Phagicola sp. 4.0%, Echinochasmus sp. 2.7% and Acantocephalos 1.3%. Trichuris vulpis was identified for the 1st time in Valdivia. The predominance of females over males in the nematodes studied was determined.
