A rare case of multiple polyps of the third portion of the duodenum has been presented. The diagnosis of polyps in the duodenum is usually made by the roentgenogram. It is thought that these polyps represent an adenomatous hyperplasia secondary to a localized duodenitis. The technical problems of exposure, excision and closure of the duodenum have been presented. This patient's symptoms were completely relieved by operation.
