The content of acid and alkaline phosphatases in the intact mongrel rats in the lymphoid elements of the peripheral blood, bone marrow and lymphoid organs (the thymus, spleen, lymph node) was studied. The mean values of the percentage of cells containing the enzymes were obtained; their organ and specific characteristics is presented.
