Angiographic studies of prostaglandin E1 [PGE] histamine and 5-hydroxytryptamine [5-HT] in phenobarbitone-anesthetized chickens were conducted. Roentgenographs of branches of femoral artery revealed that all 3 agents produced vasodilatation. The intensity of their dilatory effect was PGE1 > histamine > 5-HT.
