In culture conditions, isolated stimulated thymidine incorporation into organ cultured thymus lobes. Thymus lobes cultured in presence of PF seemed to have higher cellular density than control cultured thymus lobes. Histology of the embryonic thymus lobes cultured in presence of PF for 3 days showed a better demarcation of cortex and medulla.
