A case of so-called nodular mesenteric pseudoxanthomatosis (Schaefer) in a 73-yr-old woman was investigated. These findings in the mesenteric lymph hodes were interpreted as representing changes after inflammatory or infectious diseases in the alimentary tract. The term, lymphonodular mesenteric pseudoxanthomatosis, was proposed for this disease.
