PM lesions in 4-week-old lambs that died in a housed flock included urethral blockage, bladder stones, and wet meal but no milk in the abomasum. The Ca:P:Mg ratio of the ration, which was probably formulated for animals at pasture, was 100:112:105. Licking of whitewash by the lambs indicated calcium deficiency. The bladder stones consisted predominantly of magnesium and ammonia and phosphate.
