A study was made of blood and lymph coagulation in heterotransfusion shock in dogs induced by administration of various doses of foreign blood. The principal cause of hypocoagulation development was release of heparin into blood and lymph. The site of release of anticoagulants into the blood and lymph flow is discussed.
