Among 300 patients examined, 113 had dermatoses. Among these 113 there were 6 dermatophytoses (including 1 Trichophyton mentagrophytes) and 2 tinea versicolor [Malassezia furfur].Among the fungi isolated from soil samples were Phialophora, Nocardia asteroides, Chrysosporium spp., Microsporum gypseum, Sporothrix, Fusarium, Trichophyton [Keratinomyces] ajelloi, T. terrestre, M. cookei, Geotrichum candidum and Ctenomyces serratus.
