A large randomized Danish study found that AFX delivered in 6 fractions per week yielded a better LRC rate than SFX given in 5 fractions per week. In the present study, AFX by intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) will be delivered in 6 fractions per week during 5 of the 6 treatment weeks.
