Fine Structure of Cephalic Sense Organs in Heterodera glycines Males

The fine structure of the amphids and papillae of the male of Heterodera glycines were examined with the electron microscope and compared with that of Meloidogyne incognita. The amphid of H. glycines is much smaller than that of M. incognita and there are other major morphological differences which are described in detail.
