The cases of a 5-yr-old and a 10-yr-old boy are presented. The main clinical features were fever, weight loss, lassitude, lymphadenopathy, hepatosplenomegaly and severe anaemia. Subcutaneous abscesses and multiple bone lesions occurred in both cases. Therapy with amphotericin B was quite successful.
