1. A review on the subject of benign tumors of the esophagus with particular interest in the simultaneous occurrence of benign and malignant lesions has been presented. 2. The case represents the fifth instance of this simultaneous occurrence of benign and malignant tumors of the esophagus and the second one of a pedunculated lipoma and an epidermoid carcinoma.
