Zubczewska reports on annual and seasonal variations in intensity of infection with Heligmosomum spp. and Syphacia obvelata in isolated populations of Microtus arvalis in lucerne fields. The incidence and intensity of infection were related to host population density. The discussion includes comment on this paper and on 5 others of which 4 are of helminthological interest .
