The review of oxaprozin by Miller in the July 1992 issue of Clinical Pharmacy is derived from only a portion of the information submitted to the FDA in support of the new-drug application (NDA) for that drug. We were the pharmacokinetics reviewers of the oxaprozin NDA and believe it is important to summarize the primary discrepancies, as they relate to pharmacokinetics and dosage, between Miller's paper and the proposed package labeling for oxaprozin.
