Diopterin is pteroyl-alpha-glutamylglutamic acid and 1 mg. contains 0.77 mg. of folic acid. Six patients suffering from sprue were given daily doses of 50-200 mg. orally. All patients responded with indications that 50 mg. daily is probably the therapeutic dose.
