Pteroyl-triglutamic acid (Teropterin) contains 0.63 mg. folic acid per mg. Five patients suffering from sprue were treated. Four received 10 mg. daily intramusc. for 12-20 days, and one 20 mg. orally. All 5 responded clinically and hematologically.
