醫療暴力事件有增加的趨勢。本文試圖從法律面，解釋當前我國在法律上對於醫療暴力事件的預防及處理現況。由於立法技術問題，其保護仍有不周，因此猶待所有醫療院所及其全體員工，於平時重視此事，落實各種防治手段，隨時注意高危險群及爆發前兆；於事件發生時，所有相關人員應冷靜面對，並及時通報醫療主管機關和檢察機關。醫院也應提供關懷小組、法務協助等必要資源，以使所有員工免於傷害。.
