The Se content of sisal (Agave sisalana) waste, mean 59 mu g/kg DM, napier grass (Pennisetum purpureum) 27, Rhodes grass (Chloris gayana) 130 and stargrass (Cynodon dactylon) 91 was low. Other values were kikuyu grass (P. clandestinum) 230, Themeda triandra 182 and selected plants Desmodium uncinatum 16, Setaria sphacelata 29, Hyparrhenia lintonii 37, foxglove (Digitaria setivalva) 172; sweet potato (Batatas batatas) 420 (tops), 464 (mixed). Of 17 concentrates highest values in fishmeal 390, 640, Tilapia fishmeal 750, meat-and-bone meal 642, maize brain 493, soya bean cake 433, cottonseed cake 424 and groundnut 392.
