Two new species of nematode from Phacochoerus aethiopicus in Rhodesia are described and illustrated. Probstmayria phacochoeri n.sp. is characterized by its size, the shape of the anterior end, and by the rarity of the males, which were not found in the present study; it is distinguished from P. vivipara and P. gorillae in a table. Crossocephalus variodentatus n.sp. is distinguished from all other species of the genus by the form of the buccal cavity and of the posterior end in the male.
