Examination of specimens sent from the Telok Anson abattoir in the State of Perak, West Malaysia, in 1972, showed chronic dermatitis on the foot of a goat, on the ear of an Indian cross-bred cow and on the teat of a similar cow to be due to Stephanofilaria kaeli infection. It is said that no previous record is available of the occurrence of S. kaeli in hosts other than cattle and at sites other than the foot.
