Congenital arthrogryposis occurred in 25 pigs in 8 litters farrowed in a drylot surrounded by a dense vegetation of jimsonweed (Datura stramonium). Pregnant sows developed signs of intoxication during pregnancy. Sows in a second lot delivered normal pigs.
