Natamycin in the treatment of vaginal candidiasis in pregnancy

Fifty pregnant women with vaginitis caused by Candida albicans were treated with natamycin , 1 pessary nightly for 3 weeks. Treatment was successful in 47 patients (94%) and no patient complained of side effects.
