An analysis of individual patient's records in different parts of Poland showed that in 1972 11.2 in every 100,000 of the population were infected with cestodes. Taenia saginata was the most frequent species. A distribution map of cestode incidence is presented for 1972 and is compared with results of a similar survey in 1971.
