In calves given one-fifth of their normal daily water intake, both absorption and excretion rates of sulfaethoxypyridazine were lower than in controls. At ambient temperatures between 72 deg and 100 deg F, calves subjected to forced exercise had higher absorption and excretion rates of the drug than control calves, although differences in blood levels were not significant at every interval after dosing. At ambient temperatures between 30 deg and 70 deg , the blood level in calves subjected to forced exercise was significantly lower than that of control calves, only at the 24th hour after dosing.
