Intravenous injection of adrenaline, noradrenaline and angiotensin provoked a decrease in blood flow through the udder and, for adrenaline a decrease in arterial pressure and for noradrenaline and angiotensin a rise in blood pressure; min. effective dose was 3 mu g in each case. Kallikrein, kinins and isoproterenol elicited an increase in blood flow through the udder and a fall of blood pressure. Effects of arginine vasopressin and acetylcholine were variable.
