Inoculation of live trichomonads or extracts into rabbits resulted in the appearance of precipitins in the serum. Gel diffusion tests revealed antigenic differences among three strains from turkeys and two from fowls, which were not linked to the avian host. There was a common thermolabile antigen and strain-specific thermostable antigens.
