The tissue distribution of orally administered tracer doses of 91Y and 4°Sc of high specific activity was determined in mice. The uptake of 91Y was very low in tissues outside the gastrointestinal tract, indicating some but poor absorption of this isotope from the intestine. There was no detectable absorption of 4°Sc from the intestine since none of the tissues showed radioactivity, except for the different segments of the gastrointestinal tract.
